All Organic is not the same!
Conserve Manfuso S.r.l. has created the first certified supply chain in Southern Italy for organic tomatoes under the name CAMPI MANFUSO BIO. There are already numerous canning companies on the market that offer tomato derivatives with organic certification.
But what distinguishes one product from the other?
Undoubtedly, there are control bodies that verify compliance with the production methods envisaged by organic standards, offering extensive product guarantees. But what does the canning company really know about that product? Merely that the certificate of conformity and the supporting document that declare the product is ORGANIC? If you do not know its history, origin, experience, how that tomato was created, where, and how it got to the factory to be wisely processed.
This is real innovation… going ONE STEP FURTHER!!!
Getting to know the origin, history, cultivation site of that tomato, through its own technical network (in collaboration with the agronomist Gianluca Iovine) who supervises every step: from the preparation of the land, sowing, transplanting, flowering, harvesting ... traceability made up of field inspections and knowledge of men!!!
To present a tomato to the consumer where you know every aspect!!! How???
To certify an organic supply chain according to the dictates of the voluntary regulations on traceability (UN EN ISO 22005: 07) combined with a technical production specification that goes BEYOND ORGANIC.
In addition to being certified ORGANIC producers, suppliers must guarantee the application of the principles of good agricultural practice standards through GLOBALGAP certification, and the maintenance of a fair ethical level, through proper management practices of workers with GRASP certification. In addition to the analysis for the control of residues, it also surveys the water and soil matrix, to verify the absence of unauthorised residues.
An all-Italian, organic, traced supply chain with the application of good agricultural and social practices. All this is transmitted to the consumer on the label via a QR-code connected to a portal that enables visiting and experiencing the story. In short, beyond ORGANIC there is CAMPI MANFUSO BIO.
